Where and how is the gold stored? Are there any charges for storage and insurance?

The physical gold is stored in Brink’s vaults, utilised by various banks in India and also by various asset management companies (AMCs) for their gold ETFs. The gold is insured by a leading insurance company at the time of delivery in transit. There are no charges for storage or insurance.
