Paytm


SAIF Partners may be looking to sell 86 lakh shares (1.3 percent equity stake) in One 97 Communications (Paytm) via block deals, with the floor price set at Rs 1,120.65 per share, CNBC-TV18 reported, quoting sources.


Maruti Suzuki India


In view of the sustained increase in input costs, Maruti Suzuki has decided to increase the prices of its models across the portfolio by up to Rs 30,000, effective June 2026.


With inflationary pressures remaining elevated and the adverse cost environment persisting, the company has decided to pass on a portion of the increased costs to the market.


Indian Overseas Bank


The Board has approved raising funds of up to Rs 5,000 crore through an FPO, rights issue, QIP, or preferential issue in one or more tranches.


Further, the Board also approved the issuance of 10 crore shares to employees and the issue of BASEL III-compliant Tier II bonds up to a maximum extent of Rs 1,000 crore, with or without a green shoe option.


Fino Payments Bank


The Board of the bank is of the view that Rishi Gupta is ‘fit and proper’ to continue as the MD & CEO of the bank. However, Rishi Gupta has opted for voluntary early retirement from the position of MD & CEO, effective May 21.


Meanwhile, the Board approved the extension of Ketan Merchant’s tenure as Interim Chief Executive Officer of the bank, subject to approval from the Reserve Bank of India, for carrying out the duties of MD & CEO for three months effective May 27.


The Board also approved the extension of Anup Agarwal’s tenure as Interim Chief Financial Officer of the bank for three months, effective July 6.


Bulk Deals


India Motor Parts & Accessories


TSF Investments, the largest public shareholder in the company, has bought an additional 3.54 lakh shares (2.8 percent stake) in India Motor Parts & Accessories for Rs 40.71 crore at Rs 1,149 per share. As of March 2026, it held a 21.9 percent stake in India Motor Parts & Accessories (IMPAL).


However, Pari Washington Investment Fund sold 1.16 lakh shares for Rs 13.34 crore at Rs 1,150 per share, while Pari Washington Company AC Pari Washington India Master Fund offloaded 1.9 lakh shares for Rs 21.85 crore at Rs 1,150.02 per share, taking the total stake sale to 2.45 percent.


As of March 2026, Pari Washington Investment Fund held a 1.34 percent stake (1.67 lakh shares), while Pari Washington India Master Fund held a 2.84 percent stake (3.54 lakh shares).


Energy Infrastructure Trust


Tara Investments 2 (Incorporated VCC Sub-Fund) has bought 3.04 crore units (4.57 percent stake) in Energy Infrastructure Trust for Rs 231.34 crore from Brookfield Corporation subsidiary Rapid Holdings 2 Pte. The transaction was executed at Rs 76.1 per unit.

Societe Generale has acquired 68.62 lakh shares in Sammaan Capital at Rs 154.17 per share, amounting to a transaction value of Rs 105.8 crore.
