Premier Energies


Premier Energies has entered into a binding term sheet with RCT India, a part of Germany-based RCT Group, to form a joint venture (JV) to establish a 12 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing facility in Telangana.


The proposed facility will be developed through Premier Energies' subsidiary, Premier Battery Technologies, with the first phase planned at 6 GWh.


Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company


After considering the submissions and the personal hearing, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has levied a penalty of Rs 1 crore on Canara HSBC Life Insurance with respect to certain aspects pertaining to policyholder interests.


Neogen Chemicals


The company has launched its qualified institutional placement (QIP) and set the floor price at Rs 2,189.73 per share. It may offer a discount of up to 5 percent on the floor price.


Bharat Forge


Bharat Forge Holding GmbH (BFH), the wholly owned step-down subsidiary of Bharat Forge, has merged with Bharat Forge Global Holding GmbH. Bharat Forge Global Holding GmbH is the company's wholly owned subsidiary and BFH's immediate holding company.


There is no implication of the merger for the company in its standalone as well as consolidated financial statements. The merger has been undertaken to simplify the corporate structure.


Kotak Mahindra Bank


Manish Kothari has resigned as Group President and Head – Commercial Bank, as well as a Senior Management Personnel of the bank, effective September 30.


HDFC Bank


HDFC Bank said a Bahrain court has rejected two claims filed against the bank by investors in Credit Suisse Additional Tier 1 (CS AT1) bonds.


Between July and August this year, the Bahrain court had rejected five other similar matters filed by investors in CS AT1 bonds, taking the total number of favourable judgments for the bank to seven.


The court rejected the allegations and concluded that the investors had failed to produce sufficient admissible evidence to substantiate their claims against the bank or establish that they had suffered any loss due to the bank, PTI reported.


Bulk & Block Deals


Sri Lotus Developers and Realty


Smallcap World Fund Inc, a part of California-based Capital Group, bought 95.05 lakh equity shares, representing a 1.94 percent stake in Sri Lotus Developers and Realty, for Rs 190.01 crore at Rs 199.89 per share.


On the other side, promoter Anand Kamalnayan Pandit was the seller in Lotus Developers, offloading 97.7 lakh shares, or a 2 percent stake, for Rs 195.3 crore at Rs 199.9 per share.


Corona Remedies


Sepia Investments, an affiliate of private equity firm ChrysCapital, sold 24.85 lakh shares, representing a 4.06 percent stake in Corona Remedies, for Rs 509.6 crore at Rs 2,050.32 per share. This was part of its total 12.68 percent stake in the company as of June 2026.


Of the total shares sold by Sepia Investments, SBI Mutual Fund acquired 15.4 lakh shares, or a 2.51 percent stake in Corona Remedies, for Rs 315.7 crore, while Amundi Funds Asia Equity Concentrated bought 3.12 lakh shares for Rs 63.96 crore.


Both buyers acquired the shares at around Rs 2,050 per share.


ESDS Software Solution


Meanwhile, manganese alloys manufacturer Maithan Alloys acquired 6.34 lakh shares, representing a 0.54 percent stake in AI ecosystem provider ESDS Software Solution, for Rs 93.98 crore.


The shares were purchased at Rs 1,482.04 per share.


Spectrum Electrical Industries


Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund has bought 1.15 lakh shares, representing a 0.73 percent stake in electrical components maker Spectrum Electrical Industries, from Ajay Bhikamchand Jain for Rs 30.48 crore.


The shares changed hands at Rs 2,651 apiece.


Computer Age Management Services


Societe Generale ODI bought 37.11 lakh shares, representing a 1.49 percent stake in Computer Age Management Services for Rs 253.05 crore. Goldman Sachs Investments Mauritius I picked up 35.96 lakh shares, or a 1.45 percent stake, for Rs 245.16 crore.


Together, they acquired a 2.94 percent stake at Rs 681.75 per share.


On the other side, Fidelity Rutland Square Trust II Strategic Advisers FIDEMG Markets Fund and FMRC Fidelity Emerging Markets Fund sold 66.97 lakh shares, or a 2.69 percent stake in CAMS, for Rs 456.64 crore. The shares were sold at Rs 681.8 per share.


Vedavaag Systems


The Bharat Battery Manufacturing Company Private Limited Provident Fund Institution, the employee provident fund trust of Bharat Battery Manufacturing Company, bought 2.61 lakh shares, or a 1.11 percent stake, in IT sales and services provider Vedavaag Systems for Rs 57.82 lakh.


The shares were purchased at Rs 22.1 apiece.


South West Pinnacle Exploration


Anantnath Skycon has bought 7 lakh shares, representing a 2.14 percent stake in South West Pinnacle Exploration, for Rs 15.75 crore at Rs 225 per share.


Meanwhile, promoters Piyush Jain and Vikas Jain sold 6.2 lakh shares and 2 lakh shares, respectively, at Rs 225.13 and Rs 225 per share. Their shares were valued at Rs 13.95 crore and Rs 4.5 crore, respectively. Together, they sold a 2.51 percent stake in the company.


Marble City India


Salsett Vinimay has acquired 22 lakh shares, representing an 8.57 percent stake in Delhi-based marble importer and manufacturer Marble City India, from VPS Constructions for Rs 25.74 crore at Rs 117 per share.


As of June 2026, VPS Constructions held a 14.4 percent stake in Marble City India. The stock was locked in a 20 percent upper circuit at Rs 144.45 amid heavy volumes on the BSE.
