Stocks to Watch


Meesho


SoftBank Vision Fund entity SVF II Meerkat (DE) LLC is likely to sell 7 crore equity shares, representing 1.5 percent of Meesho’s paid-up equity, through a block deal. The floor price has been fixed at Rs 205 per share. At the floor price, the transaction is valued at approximately Rs 1,435 crore.


As of June 2026, SoftBank held an 8.6 percent stake in Meesho.


Power Grid Corporation of India


The company has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) for an inter-state transmission system project for the evacuation of power from Rajasthan REZ Phase-IV on a build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis, at quoted annual transmission charges of Rs 3,244.33 crore.


The project comprises the establishment of 6,000 MW ±800 kV HVDC terminals at Barmer-II in Rajasthan and South Kalamb substation in Maharashtra, along with the augmentation of the South Kalamb substation.


Hexaware Technologies


Hexaware Technologies has announced the appointment of Vivek Jetley as CEO-designate. He will join the company and assume the role of CEO on October 28, 2026.


Srikrishna Ramakarthikeyan will step down as CEO and as a member of the Board of Directors, effective October 28. He will continue with the company as a senior adviser to ensure a smooth leadership transition.


Housing & Urban Development Corporation


Housing & Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Bihar to provide financial assistance of up to Rs 25,000 crore over a period of five years for the development of industrial infrastructure, including land acquisition for projects.


ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company


ICICI Bank, through multiple tranches executed between July 22 and September 2, 2026, has completed the purchase of 2.9 crore equity shares, representing approximately 2 percent of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance’s equity share capital, for around Rs 1,470 crore.


Following the acquisition, the bank’s shareholding in ICICI Prudential Life Insurance stands at approximately 52.8 percent.


Page Industries


Page Industries has received a notice from the Dubai Court in relation to a claim initiated by Yellow Flower Trading LLC (YFT), Dubai, arising from disputes concerning the parties’ distribution arrangement in the UAE.


The claim amount stated in the notice is AED 113.5 million, plus interest at 9 percent per annum from October 10, 2025—the claimed date of alleged unlawful termination—until full payment.


Bulk and Block Deals


Pine Labs


Alpha Wave Ventures II LP, the flagship global private equity fund managed by Alpha Wave Ventures GP, sold 3.54 crore shares, representing 3.07 percent of paid-up equity, in Pine Labs.


The above-mentioned shares worth Rs 549.92 crore were bought by nine domestic and global investors - ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, Societe Generale, Edelweiss Mutual Fund, Goldman Sachs Investments Mauritius, Viridian Asia Opportunities Master Fund, Integrated Core Strategies (Asia), JM Financial MF, Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore, and Norges Bank on account of the Government Pension Fund Global - at a price of Rs 155.1 per share.


Altius Telecom Infrastructure Trust


CDPQ Infrastructures Asia III Inc, the subsidiary of global investment group CDPQ, has picked up 73.13 crore units (equivalent to 24 percent stake) in Brookfield-backed Altius Telecom Infrastructure Trust, the telecom towers InvIT, for Rs 12,067 crore.


On other side, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC-backed Anahera Investment sold 21.11 crore units (6.92 percent stake) for Rs 3,483.15 crore, and Brookfield-controlled BIF IV Jarvis India Pte offloaded 52.02 crore units (17.07 percent stake) for Rs 8,584.53 crore.


The above-mentioned 24 percent units exchanged at a price of Rs 165 per unit.


Aster DM Quality Care


Union (Mauritius) Holdings, which is owned by promoter Azad Moopen Mandayapurath and his family, bought 46.09 lakh shares, representing 0.52 percent of Aster DM Quality Care's paid-up equity, in the company for Rs 350.34 crore at a price of Rs 760 per share.


Centella Mauritius Holdings, an investment vehicle owned by affiliates of global alternative asset management firm TPG, was the seller.


Centella Mauritius Holdings held a 9.9 percent stake in Aster DM Quality Care as of June 2026.


Shreeji Shipping Global


Unity Associates has acquired 10.98 lakh shares, or 0.67 percent of the paid-up equity, in logistics company Shreeji Shipping Global from its promoters for Rs 70.85 crore.


Promoters Ashok Kumar Haridas Lal and Lal Jitendra Haridas each sold 5.49 lakh shares in Shreeji Shipping Global at Rs 645.30 per share, with each transaction valued at Rs 35.42 crore.


Wonder Electricals


Nexus Global Opportunities Fund has acquired an additional 15.22 lakh shares, representing a 1.13 percent stake in Wonder Electricals, for Rs 11.55 crore. The shares were purchased at Rs 75.85 apiece.


This follows the fund’s purchase of a 1.11 percent stake in Wonder Electricals in the previous session. As of June 2026, Nexus Global Opportunities Fund already held a 2.34 percent stake in the company.
