New Triumph Tiger Sport 660 Price in India, Specs, Colours, Photos: The Triumph Tiger range of adventure motorcycles is set to get a new member in the form of the Tiger Sport 660. This will be the Tiger with the smallest displacement and will also be the most affordable one. The bike is set to be powered by the same engine and gearbox that was previously seen in the Trident 660. The company had teased us with the first glimpse of the bike a few months back and now we will finally get to know the price and exact details of this ADV.
As mentioned before, the Tiger Sport 660 will get the same 660cc, in-line three-cylinder, DOHC engine that is also seen in the Trident 660. It will make 80bhp and 64Nm. The engine will come mated to a 6-speed transmission with a slip and assist clutch.
Despite having the Tiger moniker, the Tiger Sport 660 going to be a road-biased motorcycle. From what we have seen so far, this new Tiger will not get spoked wheels and will be designed to be a comfortable and capable touring companion.
Triumph introduced the world to the Tiger Sport 660 back in October of 2021 and bookings began for Indian customers began in December. Almost three months after that, we are getting an opportunity to see what the bike will actually cost.
Triumph currently sells the Tiger Sport 850 and Tiger 900 ADVs in India. This will be the third model in the Tiger. The Tiger 1200 has also been listed on the company’s website and we expect it to be launched in the coming months.
The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is going to be the youngest and smallest member of the Tiger family. It is going to share its engine and gearbox with the Trident 660 and will be the company’s most affordable ADV.
