Cochin Shipyard share price extended gains on third day, rising 2 percent in the opening trade on May 13 following collaboration with Drydocks World to boost India’s ship repair and offshore fabrication capabilities.
At 09:22am, Cochin Shipyard was quoting at Rs 1,556.65, up Rs 35.60, or 2.34 percent, on the BSE.
The partnership aims to bring global best practices to India’s maritime sector and expand capacity in line with the country's national goals.
The two sides aim to commence joint work at the ISRF in Kochi as a first step, with plans to expand collaboration across India.
A meeting of the board of directors of the company is scheduled to be held on May 15, 2025 to consider the standalone and consolidated audited financial results of the company for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2025 and recommendation of final dividend to the equity shareholders of the company for the financial year 2024-25.
The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 2,977.10 and a 52-week low of Rs 1,180.45 on 08 July, 2024 and 18 February, 2025, respectively.
Currently, the stock is trading 47.71 percent below its 52-week high and 31.87 percent above its 52-week low.
The market capitalisation of the company stands at Rs 40,952.47 crore.
The share price fell 33 percent in the last nine months.
