In an exchange filing, the company said it has received an order from HAL for the procurement of 122 AAAUs and 121 Interface Frames for the Uttam Radar programme.
Shares of Astra Microwave Products surged more than 12 percent on Friday after the company secured an order worth about Rs 2,200 crore from Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL).
The stock climbed as much as 13.6 percent to an intraday high of Rs 1,960. At around 10:20 am, it was trading over 12 percent higher.
In an exchange filing, the company said it has received an order from HAL for the procurement of 122 AAAUs and 121 Interface Frames for the Uttam Radar programme.
The total value of the order stands at Rs 2,205.23 crore, the filing said.
