Reliance Industries


Reliance and Rolls-Royce announced their strategic intent to partner and offer capabilities for the design, development, manufacturing, and delivery of a sovereign, indigenous combat engine for India’s Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) programme.


They will explore the formation of a dedicated Aerospace Gas Turbine Complex, which will serve as a centre of excellence for power and propulsion technology in India.


PB Fintech


The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has issued a show-cause notice based on certain observations made following an inspection.


Policybazaar, a wholly owned subsidiary of PB Fintech, will duly submit its response to the authority within the prescribed timelines.


IRDAI conducted an inspection of Policybazaar Insurance Brokers from October 21 to October 25, 2024.


With respect to the inspection, the authority has issued a Letter of Advice on certain documentary and process-related matters.


Juniper Green Energy


The company has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for 230 MW of contracted capacity for a Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy Round-the-Clock (FDRE-RTC) power project.


CESC


Purvah Green Power, a subsidiary of CESC, has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for the supply of 70 MW of Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy Round-the-Clock (FDRE-RTC) power from an ISTS-connected Renewable Energy (RE) power project in India.


Dr Reddy’s Laboratories


The United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) completed a GMP inspection at the company's formulations manufacturing facility (FTO-3) in Bachupally, Hyderabad. The inspection was conducted from August 6 to August 14, 2026.


The USFDA issued a Form 483 containing four observations following the inspection of the manufacturing facility in Bachupally.


Texmaco Rail & Engineering


The company has executed a Share Subscription and Shareholders' Agreement (SSSA) with its subsidiary, Texmaco Defence Technologies (TDTL), and Vagus Def Tech & Aerospace Fund-1 (Calculus) for an investment of up to Rs 200 crore. The first Rs 100 crore will be invested by subscribing to a fresh issue of equity shares, while the remaining Rs 100 crore will be invested through the issuance of equity or debt instruments.


Following the proposed subscription, Calculus will hold 30 percent of the equity share capital of TDTL, and TDTL will cease to be a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.


Bank of India


The bank has appointed Vineet Srivastava as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), replacing B Kumar, effective August 14.


Kitex Garments


The Board has approved the raising of funds of up to Rs 3,000 crore through the issuance of equity shares, non-convertible debentures along with warrants, or any combination thereof, by way of one or more qualified institutional placements (QIPs) or through any other permitted mode.


BEML


The company has received an order worth $6.65 million from Mauritius for the supply of BE220G Hydraulic Excavators for deployment across key African markets, including Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Côte d’Ivoire, and neighbouring countries.


With this order, BEML's international order bookings as of date stand at approximately $119 million.


Bulk & Block Deals


WeWork India Management


1 Ariel Way Tenant Limited, the UK-based affiliate of WeWork Global, which held a 14.82 percent stake in WeWork India as of June 2026, sold 35 lakh shares at Rs 697.55 apiece, according to exchange data.


The shares were bought by four investors, including Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company, Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius, HDFC Standard Life Insurance, and ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund.


Sudarshan Chemical Industries


Rahul Pradeep Rathi and his father, Pradeep Ramwilas Rathi, sold a combined 1.84 percent stake in Sudarshan Chemical Industries for Rs 148.22 crore.


Rahul Rathi sold 5.26 lakh shares at Rs 1,030.43 apiece, while Pradeep Rathi offloaded 9.26 lakh shares at Rs 1,015.43 per share. As of June 2026, they held 2.49 percent and 3 percent stakes, respectively.


Rolex Rings


Mirae Asset Mutual Fund acquired 9.3 lakh shares in Rolex Rings at Rs 178.59 apiece in a transaction valued at Rs 16.61 crore.


Solvex Edibles


Unicorn Fund acquired 2.08 lakh shares, or a 2.3 percent stake, in Solvex Edibles from Dhirajbhai Vaghjibhai Koradiya for Rs 36.4 lakh at Rs 17.5 per share. Koradiya held a 2.7 percent stake in the refined edible oils producer as of March 2026.


LEAP India


US-based Capital Group-owned Smallcap World Fund Inc acquired an additional 88.56 lakh shares, representing more than 2 percent of the paid-up equity, for Rs 142.77 crore at a price of Rs 161.22 per share. The fund already held a 2.52 percent stake in global investment firm KKR-backed LEAP India.


Further, The Prudential Assurance Company bought 55.5 lakh shares, representing a 1.25 percent stake, in LEAP India for Rs 85.56 crore at a price of Rs 154.16 per share. Habrok India Master LP picked up 47 lakh shares, or a 1.06 percent stake, for Rs 77.67 crore at a price of Rs 165.26 per share, while Aagam Investments purchased 30.6 lakh shares, or a 0.69 percent stake, for Rs 48.12 crore at Rs 157.27 per share.


GDN Investments picked up 20 lakh shares in LEAP India at a price of Rs 165.9 per share, in a transaction valued at Rs 33.18 crore.


Indigo Paints


HDFC Mutual Fund bought an additional 5.8 lakh shares, representing 1.2 percent of the paid-up equity, in Indigo Paints for Rs 68.16 crore at a price of Rs 1,173.26 per share. HDFC Small Cap Fund already held a 6.44 percent stake in the paint company as of June 2026.


Menon Bearings


Promoters Sucheta Nitin Menon, Aditya Nitin Menon, and Anshul Nitin Menon sold 9.96 lakh shares, representing a 1.77 percent stake, in the auto components maker for Rs 23.92 crore at a price of Rs 240 per share.


However, Persistence Capital Fund I was the buyer of some of the shares sold by the promoters, picking up 8.75 lakh shares, representing a 1.56 percent stake, for Rs 21 crore at the same price.
