Swiggy


The special resolution for the amendment of its Articles of Association received overall shareholder approval of 72.36 percent, falling short of the 75 percent threshold required for a special resolution by 2.64 percent.


The proposed amendments were a preparatory step towards the company’s objective of qualifying as an Indian Owned and Controlled Company (IOCC) under applicable Indian foreign exchange laws and regulations. Further, the IOCC classification will additionally require resident Indian shareholding to exceed 50 percent, along with applicable regulatory and shareholder approvals.


Tata Elxsi


The company announced the launch of AnaTel, an AI-native software development platform for healthcare and medical technology companies, co-developed with OpenAna, a provider of autonomous AI engineering platforms.


RITES


RITES signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Crisil. The partnership aims to combine RITES’ extensive capabilities in transport infrastructure and engineering consultancy with Crisil’s strengths in data intelligence, analytics, research, and market insights to deliver integrated, data-driven infrastructure solutions.


Lupin


The company has received the Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) for its Ankleshwar facility in Gujarat. It received the EIR following the closure of a product-specific Pre-Approval Inspection conducted from March 2 to March 7, 2026.


Wipro


The company announced an expanded partnership with ServiceNow to implement and scale the impact of agentic AI workflows across core enterprise functions such as IT, HR, procurement, and cybersecurity.


Indoco Remedies


The pharma company received EU GMP certification from the German Health Authority (Berlin) for its Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing facility (Plant III) located in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.


The inspection was conducted from April 22 to April 27, 2026.


Escorts Kubota


Escorts Kubota announced the introduction of Kubota Neostar, a significant upgrade to its compact tractor range in the 21–30 HP segment. Catering to the 21–27 HP range, this series is engineered for higher productivity, improved operator comfort, and smarter upgrade value. It is being introduced with a focus on high-potential sugarcane, vineyard, and horticulture clusters across Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat.


Wockhardt


The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has granted authorization for the import and marketing of the antibiotic Zaynich (Zidebactam/Cefepime) in India. The approval is for the treatment of adult patients with complicated urinary tract infections (cUTI), including pyelonephritis, as well as cases involving concurrent Gram-negative bacteremia.


Zydus Lifesciences


The company's subsidiary, Zydus Therapeutics, has received Priority Review from the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) for the New Drug Application (NDA) for saroglitazar. The drug is used for the treatment of PBC in combination with ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) in adults who have had an inadequate response to UDCA, or as monotherapy in patients unable to tolerate UDCA.


The US FDA has assigned a Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA) target action date of November 27, 2026.

The 49th Annual General Meeting of the company’s members will be held on June 19.


Patanjali Foods


Due to alleged differences and anomalies in the turnover reported by the company and deduction of TDS, the Office of the Assistant Commissioner, North Division, Chennai, has issued a Show Cause Notice demanding Rs 1,352.9 crore, along with a penalty of Rs 135.29 crore, for the tax period 2022-23, and interest at 18 percent on CGST and SGST.


Coal India


The Government of India has decided to exercise the oversubscription option for the sale of 6.16 crore equity shares (representing a 1 percent stake) via the offer-for-sale route, in addition to the base offer size of 6.16 crore shares of Coal India. Accordingly, the total offer size will be up to 12.32 crore shares, representing a 2 percent stake.


Bulk Deals


Pine Labs


SBI Mutual Fund acquired an additional 1.3 crore equity shares (1.14 percent stake) in Pine Labs for Rs 177.79 crore, while Nippon India Mutual Fund bought 70 lakh shares (0.6 percent stake) for Rs 94.5 crore. Their buying price was Rs 135 per share.


SBI Mutual Fund, through SBI Midcap Fund, held a 5.24 percent stake in Pine Labs as of March 2026.


However, Altimeter Growth Partners Fund III LP, a venture capital fund owned by Altimeter Capital Management, sold 1.56 crore Pine Labs shares (1.35 percent stake) for Rs 211.08 crore at Rs 135.21 per share. The fund held a 1.39 percent stake in the fintech and commerce technology platform.


Indoco Remedies


ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund bought 13.58 lakh shares (1.47 percent stake) in pharma company Indoco Remedies for Rs 26.88 crore. The buying price was Rs 198 per share.


Prataap Snacks


Promoter Authum Investment & Infrastructure picked up an additional 1.3 lakh shares (0.54 percent stake) in Prataap Snacks for Rs 14.69 crore at Rs 1,123.15 per share. This is in addition to the 1.3 percent stake bought by Authum in the previous session.


As of March 2026, Authum, as a promoter, held a 43.66 percent stake in Prataap Snacks.
