In a market short on fresh triggers, several stocks quietly grabbed attention on September 2, driven by technical breakouts, strong price action, and sustained buying interest.
The selected stocks are showing strong upward momentum, trading well above their key short- to medium-term moving averages, which indicates a positive trend in the near term.
Shalibhadra Finance shares surged 10.56% to ?84.50, trading above both its 30-day and 50-day moving averages of ?76.43 and ?77.31, respectively, indicating strong near-term momentum.
Digicontent gained 8.89% to ?26.82, staying above its 30-day, 50-day and 150-day moving averages of ?24.63, ?25.20 and ?26.51, respectively, signalling positive momentum.
JHS Svendgaard rose 7.72% to ?18.69, trading above its 30-day and 50-day moving averages of ?17.35 and ?17.49, but below its 150-day and 200-day averages of ?19.98 and ?21.62, respectively.
The selected stocks are witnessing downward pressure, as reflected in negative price movements and their positioning relative to key moving averages, indicating a cautious market sentiment.
Mangalam Alloys shares fell 5.60% to ?30.00, trading below its 30-day, 50-day, 150-day and 200-day moving averages of ?31.78, ?32.42, ?38.36 and ?41.44, respectively, indicating weak momentum.

Eicher Motors slipped 3.90% to ?7,643, trading below its 30-day and 50-day moving averages of ?7,953.07 and ?7,738.72, but remaining above its 150-day and 200-day averages of ?7,417.65 and ?7,361.78, respectively.
Meanwhile, several stocks touched fresh 52-week low, highlighting persistent buying. Notable names touching new low included Alok Industries, Voltas, Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands, JK Lakshmi Cement, ICICI Lombard, KEC International, IRCTC, Brainbees Solutions, Rail Vikas Nigam, HUL, Swan Corp, P&G Hygiene, Dabur India, Inox Wind, PI Industries, IRFC, Kama Holdings, Aditya Birla Fashion.
Niraj Ispat Industries, Best Agrolife, AKI India among others were locked in their upper circuits, reflecting strong buying and signalling bullish near-term sentiment.
