Stocks to Watch


UPL


The Board has approved a group reorganisation plan through a composite scheme of arrangement with the objective of unlocking value for its shareholders by creating an independent and focused crop protection platform.


The reorganisation will consolidate UPL’s India and international crop protection businesses through the scheme, involving UPL and its subsidiaries. As per the scheme of arrangement, UPL Sustainable Agri Solutions (UPL SAS) will be amalgamated with the company, and the India crop protection business will be demerged from the company into UPL Global Sustainable Agri Solutions. It also involves the merger of UPL Crop Protection Holdings (UPL Cayman) with UPL Global Sustainable Agri Solutions.


After the scheme of arrangement, there will be two listed companies forming part of the UPL Group — UPL (the existing listed company) and UPL Global Sustainable Agri Solutions (a dedicated crop protection platform), which will be listed pursuant to the scheme on the stock exchanges.


Cipla


The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has classified the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) inspection at the Rodopi, Greece manufacturing facility of Pharmathen International S.A. (the supply partner for Lanreotide injection to Cipla USA Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary) as Official Action Indicated (OAI).


Additionally, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) increased its stake in Cipla by 2.036 percent between November 27, 2025 and February 2, 2026, to 9.091 percent from 7.055 percent.


Vikram Solar


The company has entered into a strategic domestic cell procurement agreement with Jupiter International to procure high-efficiency TOPCon solar cells and high-efficiency mono PERC solar cells, aggregating to 2 GW of ALMM-compliant crystalline solar cells. The size of the agreement is Rs 2,000 crore.


RailTel Corporation of India


The company, in consortium with Ashoka Buildcon, has received the Letter of Intent (LoI) from the Inspector General of Registration (IGR). The contract, worth Rs 1,136.18 crore, involves the selection of an MSP for the modernization of offices of the IGR and the Controller of Stamps under the Maharashtra Government.


Highway Infrastructure


The company has entered into a Contract Agreement for the operation and collection of user fees at Moti Naroli Fee Plaza in Gujarat, amounting to Rs 154.59 crore.


Additionally, the company has entered into a Contract Agreement for the development of a road under Town Planning Scheme-08 from Kumedi to Lasudiya Mori (up to AB Road), Indore. The contract is worth Rs 69.68 crore.


Bharti Airtel


The company, in partnership with Zscaler Inc (a leader in cloud security), announced the launch of the AI & Cyber Threat Research Center – India, advancing national cyber resilience, protecting sectors, industries and assets, and accelerating trusted AI adoption.


Allcargo Terminals


The company’s total volume in January stood at 63,400 TEUs, growing 8 percent year-on-year but declining 5 percent month-on-month.


IDFC First Bank


The bank reported unauthorized and fraudulent activities linked to Haryana government accounts worth Rs 590 crore at a branch in Chandigarh. It has initiated an investigation, and the suspected employees have been placed under suspension.


The bank has appointed KPMG to conduct an independent forensic audit in this matter.


Sudarshan Pharma Industries


The Goods & Services Tax Department, Mumbai, initiated an inspection, search, and seizure operation at the company’s office on February 21. The company is in the process of collating and responding to all the queries raised by the GST department.


After the conclusion of the event, any material developments, if any, will be intimated in due course. The company’s business operations continued as usual during the search.


Bulk Deals


Shankara Building Products


The Ballygunge Family Trust has bought 5.1 lakh shares (equivalent to 2.1 percent of paid-up equity) in Shankara Building Products for Rs 5.35 crore from Marval Guru Fund, a part of Toronto-based India-focused investment firm Marval Capital. The share exchange took place at a price of Rs 105 per share.


Marval Guru Fund held a 3.55 percent stake in Shankara Building Products as of December 2025.


MIC Electronics


Promoter entity R R K Enterprise sold a further 20 lakh shares (0.82 percent stake) in MIC Electronics at Rs 41 per share, amounting to Rs 8.2 crore.


R R K Enterprise also sold 20 lakh shares on Tuesday, taking the total to 40 lakh shares offloaded last week.


Baazar Style Retail


Investor Ekta Halwasiya has picked up 4 lakh shares (0.53 percent stake) in the lifestyle retailer at Rs 328.76 per share, valued at Rs 13.15 crore.


Block Deals


Ganesh Benzoplast


Malabar India Fund, a hedge fund managed by Sumeet Nagar’s Malabar Investments, sold 10 lakh shares (1.38 percent stake) in chemical company Ganesh Benzoplast at Rs 81 per share for Rs 8.1 crore.


However, Goel Seema acquired 10.03 lakh shares (1.38 percent stake) at the same price, valued at Rs 8.12 crore.
