Vice Presidential Elections 2022 Polling Live Updates: Lawmakers will vote today at Parliament House in New Delhi to elect the next Vice-President of India. The elections are being held as incumbent M Venkaiah Naidu’s tenure as V-P ends on August 10. The voting will begin at 10 am and the process will end at 5 pm. After that, the counting of votes will take place. The NDA has fielded West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar as its candidate for the post of Vice-President of India. The Opposition, on the other hand, has nominated Congress veteran Margaret Alva.
