Honasa Consumer shares jump 12?ter Q4 revenue rises 13% to over Rs 533 crore

Honasa Consumer share price jumped 12 percent on Friday on the back of strong March quarter results, announced a day before on May 22 after the market hours.

Shares of Honasa Consumer Ltd. touched an intraday high of Rs 314 per share on the NSE, rising 14.12 percent. The stock had opened with a gain of 3.58 percent in today's trading session. The counter has been gaining for the last two days and is up over 15 percent in the period.

Honasa Consumer, which owns the beauty and personal care brand Mamaearth, posted a 13 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase in revenue from operations, reaching Rs 533.5 crore in the fourth quarter, compared to Rs 471 crore in the same period last year and Rs 517.5 crore in the previous quarter. This growth, achieved during a quarter when most fast-moving consumer goods companies have recorded only single-digit topline expansion, indicates a recovery after its offline restructuring that began in the July-September 2024 quarter.

The company had slipped into the red in the September quarter after transitioning to a direct-to-consumer (D2C) distribution model as part of its Project 'Neev', which necessitated inventory corrections. It had posted a loss of Rs 18.5 crore in Q2 FY25.

The company reported a net profit of Rs 24.9 crore for the fourth quarter (Q4) of FY25, down 18 percent from Rs 30.5 crore in the year-ago period. The company had reported a profit of Rs 26 crore in the previous quarter, as per regulatory filings.
