Vodafone Idea: Vi is targeting a four-fold jump in annual capital expenditure to $2 billion (about Rs 15,000 crore), the telco's top management has said, as it looks to take on stronger rivals.
Indiabulls Housing Finance: Sameer Gehlaut to bring down stake in Indiabulls Housing Finance to sub-10 per cent level via block deal on December 16. Gehlaut to be declassified as a promoter post the block deal, ET NOW reported.
Tata Steel: India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra) said it has upgraded Tata Steel's long-term issuer rating to 'AA ' from 'AA'. AA-rated instruments are considered to have a high degree of safety regarding timely servicing of financial obligations.
Glenmark Pharma: Drug maker Glenmark is in discussions with some global peers to license out a second potential drug asset, ISB 830, from its US-based clinical stage biotech subsidiary Ichnos Sciences days after concluding an out-licensing deal with Spanish firm Almirall.
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries: The drug maker said it has received final approval from the US health regulator for generic Amphotericin B Liposome injection used in treatment of fungal infections with 180 days of exclusivity.
ZEE Entertainment: Home-grown video streaming platform ZEE5 has entered into a strategic partnership with India's leading content and IP studio Applause Entertainment, a venture of Aditya Birla Group for a multi-show association. TVS Motor Company: The auto maker and BMW Motorrad announced expansion of their long standing partnership to include joint development of new platforms and future technologies, including electric vehicles.
Adani Transmission, Adani Ports: Adani Transmission has inked a share purchase pact with Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone to acquire MPSEZ Utilities (MUL) for Rs 116.27 crore, as per a regulatory filing. MUL was incorporated primarily for distribution of electricity, and effluent and sewage treatment in Mundra SEZ area, Kutch, Gujarat spread across 8,481 hectares as a distribution licensee.
Power Grid: The company board approved an interim dividend of Rs 7 per share for the financial year 2021-22.
ICICI Bank: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Wednesday said it has imposed a penalty of Rs 1.8 crore on Punjab National Bank and Rs 30 lakh on ICICI Bank for deficiencies in regulatory compliance.
Cipla: Drug major Cipla said it has inked a pact to acquire 33 per cent stake in renewable energy firm Clean Max Auriga Power LLP for up to Rs 6 crore.
Prestige Estates Projects: Realty firm Prestige Group and co-working operator Awfis have expanded their partnership and will set up six more centres, comprising 3 lakh square feet, across major cities with an investment of about Rs 70 crore to meet rising demand of flexible workspace.
