Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 80.5 points, or 0.47 per cent, higher at 17,186.50, signalling that Dalal Street was headed for a positive start on Tuesday. Here are a few stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:
Supriya Lifescience: The manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients will list on the bourses on Tuesday, December 28. Dealers active in the unofficial market for unlisted shares said the scrip was trading at a premium of Rs 137-150.
Mahindra Holidays & Resorts: The company, which operates under the flagship Club Mahindra brand of membership-only resorts, plans to add over 300 rooms by March to take the overall inventory to 4,500 keys, a top company official has said.
Axis Bank: The Reserve Bank of India has approved the re-designation of Rajiv Anand as the Deputy Managing Director of Axis Bank, the lender said on Monday. In October this year, the board of directors of the bank approved to re-designate Rajiv Anand as the Deputy Managing Director of the bank, subject to approval of the Reserve Bank of India, and the shareholders of the bank.

Phillips: The cigarette maker announced the appointment of Sharad Aggarwal as Chief Executive Officer. Aggarwal (50), who is taking over from Bhisham Wadhera, will be reporting to Godfrey Phillips India President and Managing Director Bina Modi, the company said in a statement.USL: Diageo-controlled United Spirits Ltd (USL) has extended the timeline for completing the "strategic review" of its select popular brands, by another three months till March 31, 2022.
Torrent Pharma: The drug maker is recalling more than 27,000 bottles of its generic drug, used in lowering high blood pressure, in the US market. As per the latest enforcement report by the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA), the Ahmedabad-based company is recalling 27,312 bottles of the Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide tablets.
RBL Bank: Analysts said technical indicators are pointing to further weakness in the stock. Meanwhile, Edelweiss Alternative Research said the forthcoming Nifty Bank review is likely to see Bank of Baroda replacing RBL Bank. This announcement is likely to come in the second half of February 2022.
Sastasundar Ventures: Veteran investor Ashish Kacholia today bought 225,000 shares of Sastasundar Ventures at Rs 447 apiece through a bulk deal on the National Stock Exchange.
HP Adhesives: Saint Capital Fund sold 264,287 shares of newly-listed HP Adhesives at Rs. 315 per share through a bulk deal on the NSE.
Adani stocks: The Adani Group will begin exporting high quality, low sulphur coal from its Carmichael mine in Australia as early as this week, tapping a new multi-decade source to meet energy needs.
Vedanta: Vedanta said a committee of directors has approved raising up to Rs 1,000 crore through non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis. The meeting was held on Monday, Vedanta said in a filing to BSE.
