Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 110 points, or 0.63 per cent, lower at 17,467.50, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a weak start on Friday. Here are a few stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:
HDFC: Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) Ltd on Thursday said it will raise up to Rs 10,000 crore by issuing bonds on private placement basis to augment its long-term capital.
Bharti Airtel: Fitch Ratings has affirmed Bharti Airtel's long-term foreign currency Issuer Default Rating (IDR) and senior unsecured rating at 'BBB-'. The outlook on the IDR is negative, Fitch Ratings said in a statement.
Tarsons Products: The stock will make market debut on Friday. Tarson Products shares were trading at a premium of Rs 175-180 on Thursday, a 27 per cent premium over the upper end of IPO price band.
TCS: Country's largest software exporter TCS said it has won a multi-year deal from metal and mining company South32. Without sharing the deal size, the Tata group company said the deal involves streamlining and enhancing South32's IT operating model for greater resilience and agility, as per an official statement.
Adani Enterprises: The construction of the second airport in India's commercial capital is finally taking shape with the Adani Airport Holdings readying funding of up to Rs 15,000 crore from the State Bank of India for the proposed airport in Navi Mumbai.
Piramal Enterprises: Piramal Capital & Housing Finance (PCHFL) has tied up with API Holdings to provide financing solutions to customers and has earmarked Rs 100 crore for disbursement by the end of this fiscal. Piramal Capital, the wholly owned subsidiary of Piramal Enterprises, has forged a strategic partnership with API Holdings through its digital platform Retailio, a release said on Thursday.
Indiabulls Housing: Societe Generale and BNP Paribas Arbitrage on Thursday offloaded 51 lakh shares of Indiabulls Housing Finance for about Rs 113 crore through open market transactions. According to bulk deal data available with the NSE, Societe Generale sold 27.40 lakh shares of Indiabulls Housing Finance while BNP Paribas Arbitrage divested 23.59 lakh shares of the company.
TTK Prestige: The company said it will buy 51 per cent equity shareholding of Ultrafresh Modular Solutions Ltd for a cash consideration of Rs 30 crore.
Future Retail: Amazon has written to the independent directors of Future Retail Ltd (FRL) alleging "significant financial irregularities", and said this warrants a "thorough and independent examination" of relevant facts and related party transactions between FRL and other Future Group entities.
Union Bank of India: The bank said it has extended the tenure of its chief risk officer B S Venkatesha by three months from mid December. The decision was taken in a meeting of the board of directors, it said.
JSW Energy: The board of JSW Energy has approved reorganisation of green (renewable) and grey (thermal) businesses, the company said on Thursday. As a result of this re-organisation, all the existing and upcoming renewable energy businesses will be housed under ‘JSW Energy Neo Limited’, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, JSW Energy said in a statement.
