KEC International shares gain 7% on orders wins of Rs 1,402 crore

KEC International share price jumped nearly 7 percent intraday on August 18 following the company secured new orders of Rs 1,402 crore across various businesses.


At 09:55am, KEC International was quoting at Rs 822.55, up Rs 44.50, or 5.72 percent and touched an intraday high of Rs 831.55 and an intraday low of Rs 803.80.


Its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business has secured orders for T&D projects including 765 kV Transmission line from a marquee private player in India and supply of towers and hardware and poles in the Americas.


The Civil business has secured a repeat order for a high-rise residential project from a renowned real estate developer in Northern India.


The Cables & Conductors business has secured orders for supply of various types of cables and conductors in India and the overseas market.


“We are pleased with the order wins across our businesses. In the India T&D business, we have expanded our customer base by securing a prestigious order from a reputed private player. We are also encouraged by the repeat order secured from a leading private developer in the Buildings & Factories (B&F) segment in India," said Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International.


"With these additions, our YTD order intake has surpassed Rs 8,400 crores. These orders, along with the orders announced earlier during the year, will substantially contribute towards our targeted growth going forward,” Kejriwal added.


In the month of July, the company secured new orders worth RS 1,509 crore across its various businesses including projects in Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Transportation, and Cables & Conductors.


The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 1,312.00 and a 52-week low of Rs 605.05 on 04 December, 2024 and 07 April, 2025, respectively.


Currently, the stock is trading 37.31 percent below its 52-week high and 35.95 percent above its 52-week low.


The market capitalisation of the company stands at Rs 21,896.28 crore.
