Lupin
The US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) conducted a pre-approval inspection at the company's manufacturing facility in Somerset, New Jersey. The inspection took place from September 29 to October 10 and concluded with one observation.
Kotak Mahindra Bank
Kotak Mahindra Bank announced that Sonata Finance has merged with BSS Microfinance and, as a result, has ceased to be a subsidiary of the bank, effective October 11. Both entities are wholly owned subsidiaries of the bank.
Mahindra Lifespace Developers
The company has been selected as the preferred partner for the redevelopment of four residential societies in Malad (West), Mumbai. This project offers an estimated development potential of Rs 800 crore.
Additionally, Mahindra Lifespace has acquired 13.46 acres of land in Pune, estimated to yield a development potential of Rs 3,500 crore.
Hindustan Construction Company
HCC has secured a Rs 204 crore contract from Hindalco Industries for the fabrication, supply, and erection of pot shells and superstructures as part of the Aditya Aluminium smelter expansion project in Odisha.
Sanofi Consumer Healthcare India
Narahari Naidu has resigned as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company, effective October 15, to explore new opportunities outside the organisation.
Travel Food Services
The company’s subsidiary, TFS Gurgaon Airport Services, has entered into a License Agreement with Delhi International Airport for setting up, operating, managing, and maintaining Food & Beverage (F&B) outlets at Terminal 2 of Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.
Mankind Pharma
The company has executed a Business Transfer Agreement with its subsidiary Bharat Serums and Vaccines (BSV) for the acquisition of its branded generic business related to the women’s health Rx portfolio, on a going concern basis, by way of slump sale for Rs 797 crore.
NTPC Green Energy
NTPC Green Energy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Japan’s ENEOS Corporation for supplying green methanol and green hydrogen derivative products to ENEOS.
Allied Blenders and Distillers
The company has appointed Jayant Bhalchandra Manmadkar as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective October 10.
Infosys
The digital services and consulting company has announced a comprehensive suite of solutions — the Infosys Customer Experience Suite for Salesforce — to deliver advanced Agentforce solutions and support enterprises in their digital transformation initiatives.
Zen Technologies
The company has received an order from the Ministry of Defence, valued at approximately Rs 37 crore, for the supply of anti-drone systems with Hard Kill capabilities.
Asian Paints
The company’s subsidiary, Asian White Inc. FZE, has commenced commercial production at its manufacturing facility in Fujairah, UAE, effective October 12.
In FY24, the company had incorporated a joint venture, Asian White Cement Holding (AWCHL), in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), UAE, and a wholly owned subsidiary, Asian White Inc. FZE, in the Fujairah Free Zone, for manufacturing and exporting white cement and white cement clinker, with an initial capacity of 2,65,000 tons per annum.
Axis Bank
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued a 'Letter of Caution' to Axis Bank, advising the bank to exercise extreme caution and diligence and ensure strict compliance with RBI's KYC norms. Axis Bank has stated that it has already implemented corrective measures.
Computer Age Management Services
The Board has approved the sub-division of the existing one equity share (face value of Rs 10) into five equity shares (face value of Rs 2 each), subject to shareholder approval via postal ballot.
Bulk Deals
Cartrade Tech
Plutus Wealth Management LLP, founded by Arpit Khandelwal, has acquired 3.75 lakh shares (0.78% stake) in Cartrade, the multi-channel auto platform, at Rs 2,445.04 per share, amounting to a transaction value of Rs 91.68 crore.
Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs India sold 3.61 lakh shares (0.76% stake) at Rs 2,445 per share, totalling Rs 88.41 crore.
WeWork India
Plutus Wealth Management acquired 11.46 lakh shares (0.85% stake) in WeWork, the workspace solutions provider, at Rs 630.17 per share, for a total of Rs 72.27 crore.
However, CLSA Global Markets - ODI sold 12.5 lakh shares at Rs 631.76 per share for Rs 78.97 crore, and BofA Securities Europe SA offloaded 9.44 lakh shares at Rs 643.17 per share, totaling Rs 60.73 crore.
As per the latest shareholding pattern published on October 9, CLSA Global Markets - ODI held a 1.74% stake (23.31 lakh shares) in WeWork.
