Power Mech Projects shares gain 4% on orders win worth Rs 551 crore

Power Mech Projects share price rose 4 percent in the opening trade on July 15 following the company secured Rs 551 crore orders from two different entities.


At 09:18 hrs Power Mech Projects was quoting at Rs 3,362.55, up Rs 144.00, or 4.47 percent.


The company has secured Rs 498.39 crore order from SJVN Thermal (P) for commissioning support & comprehensive operation and maintenance contract of coal based supercritical Buxar Thermal Power Project (BTPP) (2 x 660 MW) at Chausa, Distt-Buxar, Bihar.


Also, company recured Rs 52.96 crore order from Jhabua Power (a joint venture of NTPC) for operation and maintenance of boiler, turbine and generator of 1*600 MW unit of Jhabua Power situated at Barela, Madhya Pradesh.


On June 26, company has secured orders from Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL), for setting up of grid connected distributed solar power plants for solarization of agricultural/ mixed feeders (with agricultural load) in power sub-stations through Procurement of power by Bihar DISCOMs (NBPDCL/SBPDCL) at various locations in the state of Bihar through RESCO mode for Implementation of PM-KUSUM component C2 scheme (feeder Level solarization).


These projects are to be developed at various power sub-stations in the state of Bihar with a cumulative capacity of 13.66 MW (AC) and the total estimated revenue to be generated over a period of 25 years Power Purchase Agreement(s) (PPA) is approximately Rs 159 crore.


The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 3,725 and a 52-week low of Rs 1,698.85 on 23 August, 2024 and 03 March, 2025, respectively.


Currently, the stock is trading 9.73 percent below its 52-week high and 97.93 percent above its 52-week low.


The market capitalisation of the company stands at Rs 10,631.14 crore.
