The data showed that Bachchan purchased 41,566 shares at Rs 199.90 per share and sold 1.23 lakh shares at Rs 200.84 per share.
DP Wires shares rose as much as 8 percent in intraday trade on Wednesday amid heavy volumes, a day after actor Amitabh Bachchan sold shares worth Rs 1.64 crore in the company.
The stock has been gaining for the last three trading sessions and has advanced 21 percent during the period.
According to bulk deal data, Bollywood actor Amitabh Harivansh Rai Bachchan was a net seller of 82,056 shares worth Rs 1.64 crore in steel wires and plastic pipes manufacturer DP Wires.
The data showed that Bachchan purchased 41,566 shares at Rs 199.90 per share and sold 1.23 lakh shares at Rs 200.84 per share.
As per the company's shareholding pattern for March 2026, Bachchan held a 2.11 percent stake, or 3.27 lakh shares, in DP Wires.
